In a previous post I mentioned having found a few really good spots for foraging, this year that seems doubly true for apples.
Between Simone conjuring up new and unusual ideas of things to make for our Christmas hampers, and my reconnaissance for foragables we’re coming up with quite a list of future brews. So much so I think it’s about time I spent some time on one of my favourite pursuits… making a list!
This year it seems like we've been seeing blackberries around every corner, and with so many of them around it spurred me on to get back into making some wine…
Welcome to Brewhaha, where we document our adventures in fermentation!
In our spare time me and the misses (Simone) like to make wines, jams, and to experiment with various other fermented food stuffs. The only problem - other than the mess - with making such lovely tasties is that some of them take an age to be ready and you only make them once or twice a year, so this blog will be our record of what we did when, and how we done it, so that when the season rolls around once again we can recreate that taste of 2000 and whatever!
Tips and tricks are more than welcome, and let us know how your own (mis)adventures go if you have a stab at anything you find here.
