If you're like me and you like to have a play at making things, oggle at robots, and chase bubbles bigger than a person, Maker Faire is just about the most fun you can have in a single weekend! The Centre for Life are the hosts of this celebration of science and craft and they always do a fantastic job of making the show feel like it's never ending and exhausting in the best possible way.
I'll be leading a relief printmaking workshop over the weekend at Maker Faire, it'll be drop-in so no booking is required, it's hand on, it's free, and absolutely anyone can have a go; especially kids (and big kids). We'll be documenting everyone's favourite exhibits at this years show and printing them all in a huuuuge book ready to pass on to the Centre for Life once the show is complete.
I'll have my own printwork with me as well so you're more than welcome to come along and peruse the newest work. For those of you who liked the A-Z of science prints I'm planning a large format print of some kind with all of the prints on a single surface for this event.
You can find out more about the show here.
